Empty Tomb, Full Life: Hope

Because the tomb is empty, our lives are changed forever. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” But He was raised from the dead, our faith is not futile, and our sins can be forgiven. That is the HOPE that we can have, not only on Easter morning, but for our lives and all of eternity. God has been emptying tombs for centuries, but none more significant than the tomb that was hand carved by a secret disciple and crafted into the narrative of the greatest story ever told, ever written, ever lived.
