At New Life Youth, our mission is to love God, love everyone and love life. We love God because Mark 12:30 says, “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” We love God with everything. We also love everyone. Romans 12:10 states, “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Jesus encouraged people to come as they are. We do the same. Finally, we love life. John 10:10 reminds us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; [Jesus has] come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” We have a lot of fun.
We keep it simple. Six major events every year. Each with a unique and intentional approach to help students grow in their faith and see God move in their lives. Below, please find some information about our six major yearly events. If you would like further information on any of Children’s Ministries, please contact our offices at 608-756-4175 or send us an email.

Our first event of the calendar year is the Overload Lock-In. It’s a time of caffeine-fueled games, memory-building moments, and inspired, practical teaching. It’s basically one day of pure awesomeness… And, at the end, the students are tired, the leaders are tired, everybody is tired. But, we will have had a great time. Will you join us February 27-28, 2015, for this awesome weekend?
The second event of the calendar year is Jello Wars. Yes, you read that right. Jello Wars is a visitor-friendly activity and serves as a great opportunity for our guest to meet other New Life Youth students. It’s a day that involves team-building games with… (you guessed it) thousands of boxes of Jello. Whether it’s a giant Jello slip-n-slide or Jello diving, you’re going to be covered in Jello. This is like nothing you’ve ever done before! Let the Jello commence on June 10, 2015.
The summer kicks off our third event, Spencer Lake Camp. Every year, we go to Spencer LAke and join the other youth churches from Wisconsin. During the day, students are encouraged to participate in team-oriented sports. At the lake, students can also swim, canoe, tube or be blobbed. (If you don’t know what that is, you have to come check it out!). During the night, our guest speaker will bring a powerful message from the Word. Our Senior High campers will be at Spencer Lake from July 5 to July 19.Our Junior High campers will be at Spencer Lake from July 24 to July 25.
Each summer, New Life Youth travels to a domestic or foreign location for our annual missions trip. Some of the previous locations of our missions trips include Minneapolis, Minocqua, Argentina, Mexico and El Salvador. No matter the location, we work with local churches through street and children’s ministry, cleaning and housing projects, homeless ministry and much more. The missions trip is guaranteed to be a life-changing experience. We will be traveling to India on August 3-13, 2015.
As the summer rolls to an end and a new school year begins, we have our Back To School Palooza. The beginning of the school year can be a drag, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Each school year, we kick off with a time of free food, fun activities and a strong presentation of the Word. The event is completely free, and it is a great chance for students to invite their friends to youth church. And, the best part? It’s not just one day. It’s an entire month. See? The end of the summer isn’t so bad.
Finally, at the end of each October, we have our annual Youth Convention. We meet with the other youth churches in Wisconsin and Northern Michigan for an amazing weekend of teaching and worship. There are also dodgeball, basketball and football tournaments every year, and we have a tradition of visiting the local shopping mall. Nevertheless, in each church service, the student will be challenged to live life differently and follow God more closely.
