Nate and Jodi Ruch have had a fun and growing journey together in ministry. Married since 1994, they served as youth pastors for ten years, another ten years teaching and leading as an NCU Vice President, and the last five years as the Lead Pastors of Emmanuel Christian Center in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. They’ve raised four sons—two currently in high school and two college-aged—throughout their years in ministry.
Jodi has served on the local school board for the last 12 years, providing influence and leadership to the surrounding school district. She currently oversees both the Women’s Ministry and the Prayer ministry of Emmanuel. Her ability to speak the truth bluntly yet with hope has given her favor with many people for the good. A recent women’s event raised $17,000 to provide gifts for foster care kids in the communities surrounding each campus.
Nate’s ministry has consistently focused on investing and mentoring the next generation of leaders through speaking, leading mentoring networks, and through personal discipleship. Known to have a “relational pulpit” style, his messages are both inspirational and challenging to every generation.
Together, Nate and Jodi have spent 24 years of marriage learning to navigate the challenges of raising kids, changing careers, and stoking the fires of marital love in every season. They are honest about the journey but full of faith that God can help anyone, no matter what their family of origin or storms of life have delivered. God is faithful through every season and they are confident that God will join your story, too!
