It may be a bit warmer than usual for this far into Autumn, but the signs of the season are all around us: days are getting shorter, leaves are changing color, leaves are falling, we rake them up and then they fall again. Recognizing the signs of the seasons helps us accomplish the tasks of the seasons. Autumn has some very critical tasks that will determine what will be possible in the three subsequent seasons. This is true in nature, and it is true in our spiritual walk. Noah needed to build the ark; the Disciples spent 40 days with Jesus after the resurrection. Without these “seasons” the growth we talked about last week would not have been possible.
