Many of us are very familiar with the words of King Solomon, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” (Proverbs 29:18a, KJV). Those words remain as true today as they have been over the past three millennia. A vision brings clarity, purpose, and direction. As a church body we need to know not only who we are, but who God is calling us to become.
This Sunday we will begin a six-part sermon series walking through God’s vision for New Life Assembly of God. This week’s message will lay the foundation and framework upon which the entire vision series will be built. This Sunday we will take a close look at the necessity for a healthy church to be a unified church serving together as one to fulfill the Great Commission.
Let us never underestimate what God can do and what God desires to do in us and through us. We do not have to look very far to see reminders of just what can be done as we unify our hearts and minds. Someone once said, “Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things, but just look at what they can do when they stick together.” Let us do more than just stick together, but advance the Kingdom of God together.
